Room block

Staying at the venue

Edgefield will be keeping a block of ten rooms set aside for our guests to reserve. Simply call them, tell them that you’re a guest for Callista & Amber’s wedding on October 10th. These rooms will be entered back into circulation 45 days before the wedding if they aren’t reserved.

tel: (503) 669-8610

While the hotel has free wi-fi there are no tvs or phones in the rooms. This resort focuses on a tranquil environment that promotes exploration of the beautiful gardens, the countless pieces of custom art, and ample spaces for gathering and conversing.

The Edgefield resort was originally built in 1911 (as a "poor farm") and is on the National Register of Historic Places. If you don't know, the McMenamin family has made a small empire here in the Pacific Northwest by buying old historic buildings marked for demolition and restoring them. They then turn these beautiful old places into resorts, hotels, restaurants, theaters, bars and concert venues filled with whimsical art and references to the place's original purpose.

Pets and ADA

Edgefield is a pet friendly hotel, but you will need to let them know ahead of time and there will be an additional fee.

Edgefield also has ADA compliant rooms, if you'll need one be sure to ask for one specifically.

Relaxation

The soaking pool!

Guests at Edgefield have access to the heavenly heated oasis that is their saltwater soaking pool! This is a shallow outdoor pool, surrounded by trees and plants, and kept at a toasty 102 degrees. Be sure to bring your swimsuit! We certainly know where we'll be the night before the wedding.

Open 7 am to 11 pm, rain or shine.

Ruby's Spa

If you're looking to relax after your journey or perhaps get a nice manicure before the big day check out Ruby's Spa! Amber and I have enjoyed this place greatly ourselves, and can attest to their excellent service. For those that aren't staying at Edgefield you can still access the soaking pool with the purchase of any Ruby's Spa service.

Food & Drink

You won’t go thirsty

Edgefield has multiple bars, along with a distillery, brewery, and winery all on property. Several of the bars are quiet and hidden away, finding these little gems at a McMenamins property is part of the fun! If you don't want to sit still, you can take your drinks with you anywhere on the Edgefield grounds.

The winery also does tastings and ships bottles anywhere in the United States.

If you're needing a pick-me-up instead of a wind down there is an excellent espresso bar in the gift shop and complimentary coffee in the hotel lobby.

Good food

There are 3 restaurants on the property: Black Rabbit, Loading Dock Grill, and Power Station Pub. All great options, but with Black Rabbit being the most upscale and Loading Dock being the most casual.

For little snacks there is also the hotel gift shop and espresso bar, and for a sweet treat the gift shop sells little pints of their in-house made seasonal ice creams and ice cream sandwiches.

Entertainment

Round of golf anyone?

Edgefield has 2 scenic golf courses, a 9 and a 20. Let us know if you have an interest in playing as we will be able to get preference on tee time for the weekend of the event as the wedding party.

Power Station Theater

Want to catch a movie? Check what's playing at the single screen Power Station Theater. This theater is attached to the Theater Station pub, so you can even have your drinks and snacks delivered to your seat.

Lucky Staehly's Pool Hall

If you're wanting something a little more active check out the pool hall. They've got pool tables (obviously), pinball, shuffle board, and darts, as well as several TVs (the few you'll find on the property) in case there's a game you were wanting to catch.

Guided Tours

If you find yourself fascinated by this historic property they offer several guided tours to sate your curiosity. They also offer tours of their production facilities, so you can see how those famous McMenamin spirits, beers and wines are made!

Still bored?

If you're wanting to kill some time Edgefield has so many options for you. Watch artisans make blown glass works of art at the Gorge Glashaus. You can find yourself a little micro bar or deck rocking chair and take in the ambiance. Edgefield even holds large outdoor concerts, check their website for their 2026 lineup (once it's announced) and you might just find an act you want to see! Of course, you can also just stroll the beautiful grounds, wander through the vineyard, or sit for a spell in the herb garden.
